BOARD RULES
Every offence against these rules and the rules of individual sub-forums may lead to a warning. The admins of the forum have the right to ban accounts on the forum and in extreme cases even
in game and on IRC. The interpretation of all the rules is up to the board team.
1) Accounts, Warnings and Bans
1.1) Every User may register and use
one account. Multiple registrations and usage of several accounts may lead to a banning of all accounts. However exemptions may be given by the Board Admins.
1.2) The circumvention of a ban by registering a second account is not allowed.
1.3) Bans can be of any length deemed appropriate by the board staff.
2) Attitude on the forums
2.1) Posting contents and links of a pornographic, politically extreme, morally reprehensible, illegal and/or vulgar nature are forbidden on the whole forum.
2.2) Posting Vendetta1923 co-ordinates is forbidden on the whole forum.
2.3) Posting contents which are not relevant to the topic/respective forum (Spam/Off topic) are undesired and may lead to warnings. An exception to this is the Spamboard.
2.3.1) This includes posts which point out breaches of the rules (Back-seat modding). This is up to the board team.
2.3.2) Any post not answering a question of 3 words or less is spam.
2.4) Signatures may not exceed the following measurements:
Width: 500 pixels
Height: 125 pixels
50,000 bytes (50kb)
Only one image per signature
2 lines of standard size text with an image or;
6 lines of standard size text without an image.
2.4.1) Signatures are
not exempt from the rest of the forum rules.
2.5) Flaming. Messages clearly insulting other users or staff, either individually or as a group, directly or indirectly, are not allowed and are punishable on the whole forum.
2.5.1) Real life threats against users and staff will not be tolerated, either publicly or via private messages. Serious threats will result in a straight permanent ban from the forum.
2.6) Reposting of a theme that was already closed is not allowed. If you wish to post in it, ask the moderator who closed it to reopen.
2.7) Account Trading is
not allowed on the whole forum.
2.8) Advertising and linking to other browser games is not allowed on the whole forums,
including the media forum. Links to games with the aim to count every visitor are not allowed.
2.8.1) In addition all referral links are banned on the forum.
2.9) The Board language is
English. Please stick to it.
2.10) Requests to unban in game accounts are not to be discussed anywhere on the forums. Please get in contact to the Game Operator who banned you
via PM/email/IRC only.
2.11) Accusations of cheating are not allowed on the board. If you want to ask a question about a specific case all identifiable information must be removed.
2.12) Impersonation of a Staff member (name, avatar, signature) may lead to a warning or in extreme cases to a ban.
2.13) Post hunting (posting just to get a higher post count) will result in a warning.
2.14) You are not allowed to post for banned people. If you do so, it will result in a warning for you. An exception
can be made
only for good-bye threads.
2.15) Disruptive Behaviour - Behaviour that disrupts the service for other users, intentional or not, is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Messages or topic titles that force browsers to scroll horizontally.
- Large blank or content-free messages.
- "Bumping" multiple older topics (posting in them well after the last post).
- Posting multiple identical or near-identical messages or topics, including "fad" posts or topics.
- Intentionally hard-to-read topic titles or posts (i.e. ALL CAPS, AlTeRnAtE cApS, no spaces, no or excessive punctuation).
- Posting hard-to-read or nonsensical messages in a single or multiple topics.
- Post counting (i.e. "First", "100th Post") except on the spamboard.
2.16) Reporting messages which clearly do not break the board rules is not allowed.
3) Notes
The following themes can be discussed with the Board Administration:
- Signature Bans
- Board unban request (via PM, IRC or email)
- User title or name changes
- Complaints about board staff
If you feel warned unfairly, first PM the Mod who gave the warning. Then you may get in contact the SMod. In extreme cases you have the right to talk to a Board Admin. The Board Admins word is final.
The board team holds the right to censor any thread or post.
Minimum ban lengths
These are the
minimum length bans given for a given number of warnings, depending on the severity of the offences the ban length can and will be increased up to and including a permanent ban.
4 Warnings - 3 Days
7 Warnings - 7 Days
10 Warnings - 14 Days
13 or more warnings on a case by case basis.
The Staff reserves the right to change rules when they deem it necessary without prior notice.
